Edmonton Equine Veterinary Centre provides equine veterinary medical services to the greater Edmonton and surrounding areas. Located East of Sherwood Park on Highway 14, Edmonton Equine Veterinary Centre offers the highest standard of care through continued professional growth, a complete range of ambulatory services, and a state of the art hospital & surgical facility.
As one of the primary referral centers for Northern Alberta, our practice provides general and specialized veterinary medical services on an ambulatory and in-clinic basis. We treat a wide range of patients including hunters/jumpers, dressage, western performance, pleasure and racehorses. We see approximately 3500 in-clinic appointments, 6000 ambulatory cases and perform approximately 400 surgeries annually.
Our hospital features 12 indoor and 10 outdoor stalls, 1 surgical suite with 2 recovery rooms and 2 isolation facilities. The practice is fully equipped with a state of the art surgical facility, portable digital radiology, endoscopy/videoendoscopy, ultrasound, powerfloat and regenerative medicine capabilities. Our ambulatory team is equipped with 6 fully stocked mobile units to better serve the equine community.
In early 2010, West Wind Veterinary Hospital Ltd entered into a merger with Edmonton Equine Veterinary Services (1998) Inc. The combined practice operates as Edmonton Equine Veterinary Centre at the original West Wind Veterinary Hospital location.
