We are excited to inform you that West Wind Veterinary Hospital Ltd. has entered into a merger with Edmonton Equine Veterinary Services (1998) Inc. as of March 31, 2010. Over the next few months the ambulatory and surgical services of these 2 veterinary practices will be consolidated to the West Wind location; the combined practice will operate as Edmonton Equine Veterinary Center. Together we will be available to offer 24 hour care 365 days a year.

Rising costs make the outfitting of a full-service equine hospital and ambulatory clinic challenging for smaller clinics. By amalgamating forces, we will be able to provide the ongoing training, most current technology and newest equipment so necessary in meeting your equine needs in today’s world. Combining energies and services of both Edmonton Equine Veterinary Services (1998) Inc. and West Wind Veterinary Hospital Ltd. will ensure that the emergency, after hour, weekend and surgical needs of the horses in our community will be met effectively and economically. Combining our staff will also allow us to be open all day Saturday for appointments. We have modified our mileage fees to reflect our new synergies as well. Our goal is to maximize the benefit to you, your horses and our staff.

We will continue our commitment to provide quality care to our patients, a knowledgeable and sympathetic ear for consultation, and a hand to assist in your horse’s health needs.
