Dr. Jack Ingram - Veterinarian/Partner
After graduating from WCVM in 1973 Dr. Ingram went on to complete an internship at Washington State University and then a residency in Equine Surgery at Cornell University. Upon completion of his residency, he returned to Alberta to practice. Dr. Ingram enjoys being both ambulatory and in-clinic. His interests lie in respiratory, reproductive and sports medicine. Jack currently resides in Sherwood Park. He enjoys golf and skiing.
Dr. M.N. Stewart - Veterinarian/Partner
Following graduation from the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Stewart began practice in Alberta primarily at the Standardbred racetracks in Calgary and Edmonton. Complementing his practice by working with the hunter/jumpers and show horses in Calgary and Edmonton. Dr. Stewart joined as a partner with (EEVS) Edmonton Equine Veterinary Services in 1998. His special interests include Equine sports medicine and surgery.
Dr. Barbara Hunter - Veterinarian
Following graduation from WCVM in 2007, Dr. Hunter completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery in New Jersey. She joined EEVS in 2008 and focuses primarily on dentistry, emergency medicine, and sport horse lameness. Dr. Hunter also has a special interest in internal medicine, particularly neonatal medicine, respiratory disease and ophthalmology. Outside of work, Barb enjoys running and riding.
Dr. Greydanus - Veterinarian
Dr. Greydanus graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008. She completed a year long internship at a large equine referral hospital in New Jersey, focusing on internal medicine, surgery as well as ambulatory practice. Dr. Greydanus joined EEVS in the summer of 2009. Her current interests are in sport horse medicine and general ambulatory practice for both show and pleasure horses. Dr. Greydanus grew up in New Brunswick where she raised and showed Arabian horses. Outside of work she enjoys spending time at the barn with her two Arabians.
Melissa Stephan - AHT
Melissa graduated from Nait's Animal Health Technology program in 2002. She joined EEVS in the fall of 2005. Melissa’s primary duties include anesthesia, overseeing the day to day operations of the clinic as well as patient care. Melissa enjoys riding and was actively involved in three day eventing.
Jenna Hunter - AHT
Jenna received her diploma in Animal Health Technology from Lakeland College in Vermilion in 2007. She enjoys assisting in equine surgery and anesthesia as well as diagnostic imaging. Her interests outside of work include barrel racing, show jumping, hockey, quading and hunting.
Robyn Andersen - AHT
Robyn graduated from the animal health technology program at Olds College in 2006 and joined Edmonton Equine fall of 2009. Neonatal and internal medicine cases and reproduction are Robyn’s primary interests within equine medicine. Robyn is also very interested in rehabilitation, fitness and nutrition and likes to keep herself busy outside of work with her own horses, furthering her knowledge in these areas.
Sandy Ward - Receptionist
Sandy started with EEVS in November 2002. Sandy's responsibilities include the booking of appointments, account inquiries and maintenance, and client communication as well as a miriad of other office tasks. Sandy enjoys showing Arabians and has been involved with horses for over 20 years. She also has an interest in dog showing.
