Dr. Jack Ingram - Veterinarian
After graduating from WCVM in 1973, Dr. Ingram went on to complete an internship at Washington State University and then a residency in Equine Surgery at Cornell University. Upon completion of his residency, he returned to Alberta to practice. Dr. Ingram enjoys being both ambulatory and in-clinic. His interests include respiratory, reproductive and sports medicine. Jack currently resides in Sherwood Park. He enjoys golfing and skiing.
Dr. Mo Stewart - Veterinarian
Following graduation from the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Stewart began practice in Alberta primarily at the Standardbred racetracks in Calgary and Edmonton. He complements his practice by working with the hunter/jumpers and show horses in Calgary and Edmonton. Dr. Stewart joined as a partner with (EEVS) Edmonton Equine Veterinary Services in 1998. His special interests include equine sports medicine.
Dr. Deborah Carroll - Veterinarian
Dr Deborah Carroll is a 1991 graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. She has lived and worked in Strathcona County ever since. Recently, she was the recipient of the Mayor's award in Strathcona County; awarded in recognition of the years she has spent working, volunteering and donating to the local community. Deb enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially emergency care.
Dr. Emily Robinson - Veterinarian
Dr. Robinson graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She went on to complete an internship in equine medicine and surgery in Florida. Emily’s interests include lameness, dentistry, reproduction, ophthalmology and herd health. Emily grew up three day eventing, and outside of work she enjoys riding, hiking and snowboarding.
Dr. Helena Carstensen - Veterinarian- Intern
Helena graduated as a veterinarian in January 2011 from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. During her studies she has specialized in horses as they are her great passion. Helena’s interests include all aspects of equine medicine and surgery but particularly lameness, poor performance, emergencies and reproduction. Outside of work her interests are dressage riding, skiing and dancing.
Heather Jones - AHT
Heather graduated from Lakeland College-Vermillion Campus in 2004 with a diploma in Animal Health Technology. Growing up on a farm, her love for large animals became her passion. Her work related interests include reproduction and foal care. Out of the clinic she enjoys quading, sledding, and softball. There is barely a moment where she does not have a smile on her face.
Kerri Golka - AHT
Kerri graduated from the Animal Health Technology Program in 2006. Kerri enjoys equine anesthesia, surgery, emergency care, lameness, and dentistry. Kerri is the head technician, as well as inventory manager for Edmonton Equine Veterinary Centre. Outside the clinic, Kerri's interests include riding her horses, wakeboading, camping and quading.
Chelsea Eales- AHT
Chelsea graduated from the NAIT Animal Health Technology program in spring 2011. After completing her 6 week long practicum at EEVC she was hired on as a full time technician. Chelsea has a strong interest in emergency work, critical care and assisting with farm calls. When not at the clinic, Chelsea enjoys going boating, snowboarding, and spending time with her Quarter Horse mare.
Sandy Ward- Administrative
Sandy started with EEVS in November 2002 and continued on at EEVC with the merge. Sandy's responsibilities are extensive and include the booking of appointments, account receivables, and client communication. Sandy enjoys caring for her own Arabian gelding. She recently picked up her pen again, creating beautiful NHL hockey player images from ink using a pointilistic style, which she uses to raise money for local charities.
